Viton sanitary gaskets, sometimes called Fluorocarbon sanitary gaskets or FKM sanitary gaskets, are resistant to chemicals, oils and high temperatures. Type 1 sanitary gaskets are the standard choice when it comes to sealing hygienic piping systems. Compliant with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and certified to 3A 18-03 sanitary standard for use in food, beverage and pharmaceutical processing applications with the most stringent of requirements.
