PTFE Spring Energized Seals are wear resistant and withstand high temperatures and chemicals. Spring Energized Seals are an enhanced U-Cup lip seal with a high performance polymer jacket that is reinforced by a spring energizing component. Specifically manufactured for extreme applications where higher cost is offset by less frequent seal changes, repairs and inspections that increase process and equipment up time. Have a sealing lip on both the ID and OD so these can be used for rod or piston sealing. Commonly used in linear, oscillating, and rotary motion applications.
