Buna-N sanitary screen gaskets are resistant to oils, fuels, and greases – plus mild chemicals and water. Buna-N is a tough and durable material with good resistance to abrasion, compression, and tearing. Screen gaskets contain a wire cloth that provides inline straining to filter, separate, and strain liquids or dry materials in your line. Different mesh sizes are available to filter different sized particulates. Compliant with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and certified to 3A 18-03 sanitary standard for use in food, beverage and pharmaceutical processing applications with the most stringent of requirements.
