Gasket tape, also known as joint sealant tape, is a thick expanded PTFE tape that is used to seal pipe flanges. Material is highly compressible and fills irregularities on rough-surfaced flanges when compressed to form a tight seal. Able to withstand the most aggressive environments where resistance to harsh chemicals and high temperatures are required. Can be easily cut to length and comes with adhesive backing which makes it easy to install on narrow and hard-to-reach flanges.
