Cord Stock
Cord stock, sometimes called O-Ring cord stock or rubber cord stock, is used to create custom O-Rings of various diameters. Cord stock is cut to size and the two ends are bonded together using splicing or vulcanization. Commonly used when an application calls for a seal with large or non-standard diameters. Cord stock is also used when O-Rings are needed in a pinch and lead times on molded O-Rings won’t cut it.
