Fabric-reinforced SBR rubber, also known as cloth-inserted SBR rubber, has polyester fabric layers inserted within SBR rubber to enhance structural strength and maintain size and shape under heavy compression. Fabric-reinforced rubber is commonly used for flange gaskets and diaphragm packing. SBR is a tough and durable material with good resistance to abrasion, compression, and tearing. Commonly used in high-wear applications such as belting and liners.
