Acrylic tubes are clear, strong and inherently resistant to scratching and abrasion. These exhibit glass like characteristics but are half the weight and has much better impact resistance. Often used to protect and house wires, cords, and cables or can be fabricated into containers, tanks, and lenses. Acrylic is also known as Poly Methyl Methacrylate (PMMA) and is commonly known by its trade names Plexiglass, Lucite, and Acrylite.
