Acetal sheets and bars are highly resistant to wear and abrasion. These also resists expanding when exposed to heat and moisture. Acetal plastic is easy to machine and hold a tight tolerance. Often fabricated into parts that require precision such as gears, bearings and bushings. Acetal is also known as polyoxymethylene (POM), polyacetal, and polyformaldehyde.
