Soft EPDM foam is more compressible for better sealing performance compared to standard EPDM foam. EPDM foam is resistant to weather and UV. EPDM also withstands water, steam, mild chemicals, and moderately high temperatures. Commonly used in applications involving steam, such as industrial pipe systems and electrical power plants. Closed cell foam forms a tight seal and prevents air, water, and fluids from passing through it.
