Fire retardant neoprene foam meets UL 94 HF-1 requirements for extinguishing the spread of flames. It is also softer and more compressible than standard neoprene foam. Neoprene foam, is a good multipurpose choice with moderate resistance to oils, chemicals, and weather. Neoprene offers exceptional resistance to refrigerants and are commonly used in air conditioning applications. Closed cell foam forms a tight seal and prevents air, water, and fluids from passing through it.
