Fabric-reinforced silicone foam, also known as cloth-inserted silicone foam, has fiberglass fabric layers inserted within silicone foam to enhance structural strength and maintain size and shape under heavy compression. Fabric-reinforced foam is commonly used for flange gaskets and diaphragm packing. Silicone foam withstands both high and low temperatures and is also highly resistant to weather, UV, and ozone making it an ideal choice for outdoor applications. Closed cell foam forms a tight seal and prevents air, water, and fluids from passing through it.
