G-10/FR4 Garolite sheets and bars are strong, machinable, moisture resistant, electrically insulating and flame retardant. These are created by layering glass fabric with a flame retardant epoxy resin, then laminating under heat and pressure. Garolite has excellent strength-to-weight ratio and electrical insulating properties. Commonly used for fabricating parts and electrical components, it has many applications in electronics, aerospace, civil engineering, and medical. Garolite is commonly known as thermoset, laminate, phenolic, or Bakelite.
