Military Grade MS35275 Wire-Lockable Machine Screw - Slotted Fillister Head - 18-8 Stainless Steel - 6-32 Thread - 3/8" Long
Machine screws are generally used to fasten metal parts together in various types of machinery, automotive, and construction applications. Machine screws are typically used with a pre-tapped hole or with a nut. The head has a hole drilled through the side which allows for wires to pass through to enhance vibration resistance. The fillister head, also known as cheese head, has a smaller diameter but larger head height than round or pan heads and is ideal for applications requiring a deeper slot. The slotted drive has a straight-line notch grooved into the surface the head and is designed to be used with flat-headed screwdrivers. 18-8 stainless steel, also commonly known as 304 or A2 stainless steel, has good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic.
