Plastic colorants are combined with plastic resin pellets to impart colors on finished parts made from thermoplastic processing methods including injection molding, compression molding, and extrusion. Unlike most colorants that are designed for use with a particular resin, these colorants are uniquely designed to be universally compatible with a broad range of polymers including engineering resins. These have extremely low let down ratios, typically 1% or 2% depending on the resin, and do not require drying prior to processing.
