Quick Disconnect fittings consist of a socket and a plug, sometimes called a coupling and an insert. They easily connect and disconnect with the push of a latch. When they disconnect a built-in valve stops the flow automatically. They are made of lightweight Acetal plastic with a stainless steel latch. They are used with water, air, gas, and many chemicals.
