Used to fasten and join two components. Screws dig and wedge into a material and the thread cuts grooves in the fastened material, pulling fastened materials together and preventing pull-out. Pan head features a disc with chamfered outer edge and short cylindrical sides that resembles a frying pan. It protrudes above the fastening surface. Phillips Drive has a cross-shaped indent for use with a Phillips screwdriver. This item is paired with a silicone o-ring that sits under the head to prevent leaks and seal out contaminants. 18-8 stainless steel, also commonly known as 304 or A2 stainless steel, has good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic.
