Hex bolts feature an external hex head that protrudes above the fastening surface for use with a ratchet wrench. This item is paired with a silicone o-ring that sits under the head to prevent leaks and seal out contaminants. 18-8 stainless steel, also commonly known as 304 or A2 stainless steel, has good chemical resistance and may be mildly magnetic.
