These envelope type 3 sanitary gaskets have a PT`FE envelope that enhances resistance to chemicals over an EPDM rubber core that retains compression properties of the gasket. EPDM core is resistant to weather, UV, water, steam, mild chemicals, and moderately high temperatures. Compliant with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and certified to 3A 20-27 sanitary standard for use in food, beverage and pharmaceutical processing applications with the most stringent of requirements.
