Graphite Compression Packing

Graphite compression packing is braided from flexible graphite yarn that offers outstanding thermal conductivity and natural self-lubrication without added impregnation. It handles, cuts, and installs more easily than flexible graphite ribbon and seats readily against irregular sealing surfaces. Reinforced constructions with Inconel wire or carbon fiber corners resist extrusion and blowout in high-pressure valve service. Commonly used in steam valves, boiler feed and condensate pumps, expansion joints, and petrochemical applications.
