ePTFE Compression Packing

ePTFE compression packing, also known as expanded PTFE packing, is braided from expanded PTFE yarn that is chemically inert across the full pH range. Naturally low friction and non-abrasive, it conforms to worn or out-of-round shafts and seals with minimal gland adjustment. Silicone or mineral oil impregnation speeds break-in, while unlubricated ePTFE suits services where lubricant contamination is a concern. Compatible for use with acids, alkalis, brines, solvents, and hydrocarbons.
