Timber bolts are also known as dome head, fender head, safety head, and mushroom head bolts. Timber bolts have fins underneath the head of the bolt that prevents the bolt from turning once installed into the surface. Timber bolts also have an oversized head which eliminates the need for a washer. Most commonly used in wood and marine applications.
