Extrusion Capabilities
Plastic Extrusions
Plastic resin is heated into a malleable molten state and forced through a die. The extruded plastic then cools and solidifies in the shape of the die profile.
Rubber Extrusions
Rubber compound is heated into a malleable molten state and forced through a die. The extruded rubber then cools and solidifies in the shape of the die profile.
Sponge/Foam Extrusions
Plastic resin or rubber compound is heated into a malleable molten state, combined with a blowing agent, and forced through a die. The blowing agent introduces air pockets into the component so that as the extruded rubber cools and solidifies in the shape of the die profile, it becomes softer and more compressible.
Metal Insert Extrusions
Metal insert is coextruded with plastic, rubber, or sponge/foam material.
Post-Processing Fabrication Capabilities
Cut-to-Size & Coiling/Spooling
Extrusions can be cut to your length requirements and/or applied to spools to make handling and application easier.
Applying Adhesives/PSA
PSA backing on an extrusion allows for temporary or permanent bonding to a variety of surfaces, including metal, plastic, wood, paper, and more.
Splicing & Vulcanizing
Ends of the extrusion are chemically bonded together to form continuous gaskets, seals and more.
