Wing screws, aslo know as wing head thumb screws, are screws that are designed to be fastened by hand. Type D wing screws, or stamped wing screws, have the stamped wing heads welded to the shank. The round head has a domed head, a smaller surface bearing, and protrudes above the fastening surface. Zinc Plated steel offers good corrosion resistance in applications not exposed to excessive moisture.
