These sheets have a fabric insert and stand up to high stress and flex. They are often used as flange gaskets, diaphragm packing, and in other applications with heavy compression. This silicone is also made of FDA complaint materials for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical applications. It also has excellent weathering properties.
