Plow bolts feature a flat and tapered head that is designed to sit flush with the surface once installed. Plows bolts also have a square neck which prevents the bolt from turning when a nut is installed. Plow bolts are most commonly used in heavy equipment and road construction. The flat head features a conical head and flat top, and it is countersunk for a smooth, flush surface. Zinc plated steel offers good corrosion resistance in applications not exposed to excessive moisture.
